Poll: Act Blue Next Four States Poll

I got this email from Chris Bowers of MyDD yesterday evening. Act Blue currently only raises funds for federal candidates. This cycle they are expanding their fundraising capability to include candidates for state state offices as well. They will decide which states based on the results of this poll. Check it out:

I wanted to alert your attention to an important poll on Act Blue that can be found here:

I was hoping that you could post a link to this poll on your blogs. It wouldn't add a single visit to MyDD, so this isn't about traffic. The point of the poll is to determine which four states Act Blue moves into next.

Right now, except for Virginia, Act Blue can only allow people to raise money for federal candidates. However, it now has a project of expanding into all fifty states, so that people can use it to raise money for all Democratic statewide candidates as well. This poll will determine the next four states Act Blue moves into.

Please link to this poll on your blog. The voting ends on Friday. Please encourage people to do more than vote for their home states. Act Blue will eventually move into every state, so encourage people to rank states according to what they feel are the absolutely most pressing needs for Democrats nationwide.
