Reuters - Wed Oct 12, 1:37 PM ET
Federal Prosecutor Patrick Fitzgerald departs the U.S. Federal Courthouse in Washington, D.C., October 12, 2005. The New York Times reporter Judith Miller, under pressure to explain a previously undisclosed conversation with a top aide to U.S. Vice President Dick Cheney, made a second appearance on Wednesday before the federal grant jury investigating the leak of a CIA operative's identity. 1. He's clearly not a publicity hound. No interest in the cameras
whatsoever ... just a keen interest in nailing the bad guys.

4. Yep
Unlike Ken Starr. Ugh. Gotta love Fitzgerald. *sigh* If only he was younger! He looks pretty good for his age though! :loveya: I'm definitley saving all these pictures of him so someday I can show my future kids this was the guy who brought down the Bush regime. He seems shy around all the cameras.

It gives me hope for the country that there are still good guys out there like him whether he's cute or not to me. From what I've read on him he's the type of guy who likes to go after the bad guys. He hunts for the blood. And if the White House is calling him a bully well then that just makes it all better!!

Her smile didn't match her eyes, if you know what I mean.

Happy people smile with both their mouths and their eyes.

That's the dead giveaway.

Politicians and actors do that non-matching smile thing, and it drives me crazy.

14. Really? You think he looks pleased? My sense is that he knows he's doing
his job, knows how important that job is and takes it seriously and also is sickened at the same time about what he has discovered in the process of the investigation.

He strikes me as someone who doesn't want the limelight, doesn't care about the limelight and that "hidden smile" is more of a polite "excuse me, I need to pass through here to go do my job folks" look....I don't think there is much pleasure for this man in having realized that his country's Presidency and the President's administration are corrupt and guilty of treason. And if there is ever going to be "pleasure" for this man, it will have been in knowing he and his team and the legal system did their job and justice prevailed....and that he may have saved our Nation....but he strikes me as cautious and keeps things including emotions close to the chest.

He's definitley a pro, no doubt about that, and very serious. No one can doubt that he keeps things close to him. I do think he's probably cautious. I remember reading a story about how he was getting bomb threats at his house and he had to get his mail at work.

41. Merry Fitzmas Mr. Fitzgerald

It's beginning to look a lot like Fitzmas
Everywhere you go.
Who's gonna do five-or-ten?
We're thinking once again
Of handcuffs and of orange jumpsuits aglow.
It's beginning to look a lot like Fitzmas
Indictments on every score
But the prettiest sight to see
Is the scowl on Darth Cheney
At the slammer's front door.

A warrant or writ, a subpoena that fits
Is the wish of Barney and Ben;
The thought of Turdblossom hung up like a possum
Is the hope of Janice and Jen;
And Mom and Dad can hardly wait for court to start again.

It's beginning to look a lot like Fitzmas
Everywhere you go.
There's an defendant who doesn't want to tell;
One in the White House as well --
The felony kind that doesn't mind the law!
It's beginning to look a lot like Fitzmas
Soon the bells will start
And the thing that will make them ring
Is the indictment that we sing,
Right within our hearts!

46. Thanks so much for the photos. This man could literally bring down the
B* administration. What a weight. I pray that he balances it properly, as Democracy itself may well be in the equation. (I RARELY mention praying...a privacy thing for me, but in this case, I am so fervently praying, that to not mention it would seem hypocritical, the opposite of what most public 'Christians' do. "And when you pray, don't do as the hypocrites do, for they love to pray in the synagogues, and in the street corners, that they may be seen of men." Matt. 6:5)

59. I am just hoping he's worthy of all the praise he is getting here.
His appearance is rock solid.... looks honest, but never read a book by its cover... Come on Friday!

71. Oh joy of all joys! Do you see what I see?????
He has a jump drive in his pocket!
He takes his case with him and doesn't leave it on a harddrive for someone to look at when he isn't around!
That is why there aren't any leaks.
I bet he even has a backup copy stuck somewhere.
What a guy!
