Will Bush lose his swagger if he loses his Dick?

Only Cheney's resignation could be the stopper Bush needs at the White House. It would allow Bush to contain the problem. He gets to keep his staff and Condi's and jettison the whole Cheney-Libby group.

That would allow Bush to get a fresh start by naming a new VP, someone picked to assuage the base and reconnect with the public.

But if Bush loses his Dick, where will his swagger be?
