17. Why does every thread that has Will Pitt or Skinners name

in, or on it get tons of recommended votes? This thread has no business getting votes yet it already has five votes just because it has Will Pitts name on it???? Thats just strange.

This is noting against Will or Skinner but if you took a good number of their posts, took their name off it and substituted their name with someone else's it might not get one recommended vote and probably would sink to the bottom of the page in several minutes.

It reminds me of a Benny Hill show where Benny Hill is a waiter and offers someone a bottle of wine. The guy tastes it but rejects it based on the label. Benny Hill goes in the back and puts a new label on the wine and then shows it to the guy. He tastes it and then says he loves it.

Will is a brilliant guy but that doesn't mean that every thread he starts is worth of receiving a recommendation votes. Same with Skinner.

I swear I could change my handle to Will Pitt and start a thread about picking Apples and it would take off and be on the greatest page in ten minutes flat.

23. Funny, I did a search of his name here and found this post.

Which leads me to realize that he's become a touchstone for me, helping me get some perspective on how things stand and relate one issue to another. I suppose it's the reliable phrophetic nature and consistency of his voice over time that makes him someone I seek out.

But none of this is helping me actually turn over his latest thoughts on things...on to the Progressive Democrat sight!
