And that's the root of the problem you are attempting to illustrate.

What is a 'Christian' nowdays? We have our definitions, probably based around writings like the Beatitudes, but people like Dobson have their own definitions, undoubtedly sounding like the opposite of the Beatitudes.

Am I 'allowed' to say that 'somebody isn't a Christian'? I've been told that I shouldn't define other people's religion for them. So when Dobson says that he is doing a 'Christian' thing by being an authoritarian chauvinist, who am I to say that he's not?
