The Reconstruction of Iraq. On NPR this a.m.

Stewart Bowan, the Inspector General for Iraq Reconstruction, tells NPR of an electric-plant completely constructed, except for the wire/cable to connect it to the power-grid. He says that cable wasn't in the SCOPE of the project, so it wasn't included.

He also cited several funds appropriated for several projects that produced no results at all. Books in a library in Kabul, for one.

Pretty interesting, saying you're going to do something for someone, like the Iraqis, and then keep "the keys" so to speak, e.g. the wire/cable to make an electric plant work.

than the Deaths of 10s of thousands of Iraqis. - FOR A LIE!!!

4. Very true, I've never read a single article by a conservative

who is bothered by the death toll, either Iraqi or American. Everybody is expendable, unless you're one of them.

5. If you're one of them, you're entitled to everything - even the Futures

of every person born into this country, and, of course, a gauranteed place in "Heaven" with Mammon.
