Andrew Sullivan to move blog to Time.com in January

RAW STORY

TIME contributor and essayist Andrew Sullivan will begin posting his blog, The Daily Dish, on TIME.com starting in January 2006, RAW STORY has learned. The magazine made the announced in a release Monday morning.


The move comes as TIME has added more web-exclusive content to TIME.com and a year after it became the first major magazine to publish its entire archive online.

“We look forward to offering our online readers more of Andrew's distinct and independent voice, much as we already do in the magazine,” Kelly said. “Andrew's blog is the first in what we hope will be a blog neighborhood on TIME.com, offering a central meeting point for opinions from all points of view.”

If you suddenly think that Sullivan is the big pooh, it's only because Sullivan wants to ride the wave of popularity and he senses the tide has turned, so he's writing what you want to hear.

Sullivan was and is 100x worse than Maureen Dowd was. Dowd still has to atone for her sins, but she at least was just a gossip in the 90s. But Sullivan's continual Clinton bashing played right into the right-wing's method of quieting down liberal opposition to the point that no one in the media was left standing to question two stolen elections and our coercion into the Iraq war. If you forgive Sullivan, you need to forgive Ailes, Novak and Murdoch, too.
