NEW RULE....President must have a press conference at least
once a month. How great would that be. If the Republicans are so anxious to expel the truth, lets pass a totally bi-partisan resolution requiring that the president must hold a national press conference at least once every month.

All it does is allow your president to clarify his positions. He should welcome the chance to do that as he has done at the army depot and Alaska.

Fear to do it shows what your real motivation is. Harry you're free to use my idea.

I yield the floor to the distinguished senator from Nevada: :patriot:

edited to add that it's a TV show, and civilians can call in to ask questions. I'm serious too, which makes it even funnier!

3. W couldn't perform at the demanding level of once a month
and it might interfere with his vacations. He was raised as an elitist.

5. He was supposed to be doing that already, started, never
followed through, surprise. :eyes:
I think he said something similar tonight in response to the Senate wanting an accounting, a "REAL" accounting regarding Iraq. Don't hold your breath.
He'll be there-when pigs or repugs fly.
That could be sooner than we think!

Primetime every 3rd Tuesday or something like that. There should be no reason why this can't happen.

10. Their heads would explode
if that was actually introduced as a bill. There is no defense for not wanting it. It would be equally applied to either party in the law.

Anyone who put up a strong resistance against such a common sense obligation to the people I think would make people v-e-r-r-r-ry angry.

I really think it should be done. Just the publicity alone would be as good as the rule 21 shutdown.

Do it Harry !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

14. I've said this for a long time
We have a right to question our leaders through the press. Maybe with some more practice the press would actually become effective again too.
