Many Democrats Suffer From, "Everything's Going to be Alright" Mentality
For those who haven't gotten the memo -- Nothing will be alright unless you make it alright.

Speak up! Clutter opposing boards with facts. Get less comfortable.

Tune the radio to Limbaugh, Hannity & their local ass-kissers. Call in and voice your voice.

The local AM radio stations are where the Bush apologists are directed (via "Conservative talking points") to do their jobs.

1. I mentioned listening to Rush's replacement a couple of days ago
and got 10 replies telling me where the progressive radio is, and one reply answering my accompanying question. Quite annoying.

I know where the progressive radio is. But we ignore Rush and his ilk at our own risk.

will break lose". Vietnam, Chile, El Salvador, Iran-Contra, BCCI you name it and none of it seems to stick. Please let this be the breaking point and let it encompass all past perpetrators of evils as it comes crashing down. It is sad to be optimistic about the awakening of all the people to the awful truth....ignorance is bliss...but it has to happen before we can move on to a better place.

I agree that it is important to monitor our opposition, as painful as it can be. I haven't been challenging their script out loud as much as I should, but I am armed with information and ready for action. I must get out of the house more to put it to the test.

3. Those are the people who have not lost all hope. And you need them
because they will get knocked down and stand right back up and work towards the life they want.

It takes a village.

7. Good point
Its more important than ever to get out there on the mixed forums, especially local news forums in your area if you're in a red state.

9. My Problem is That I'm Exactly the Opposite
Most of the time, I *don't* think it's going to be all right. And I get angry at all the apathetic people around me. I have a feeling that a lot of us fall under this category.
