Q: So why are far right repugs cutting taxes, taking away from the poor
and increasing the deficit?

A: so they can move even closer to their ultimate goal of eliminating Social Security and destroying the public schools. You silly goose.

2. they don't care, they are not loyal to america
as america becomes further and further plundered, they simply shift their loot to more promising economies. they are already shifting to euros and investing in latin america and so on.

3. Starving The Beast
Didn't Grover Norquist admit it?

They deliberately run up high deficits by giving tax breaks to people who don't need it. Then, they manage the deficit by elminating the safety net for the most desperate.

There are some who really believe in trickle down economics, foolish, maybe but not evil. And then, there are the others...

5. Time is short
they will not be in power much longer. You will be seeing a lot more stupid bills being put up for the next year, because they will want to get all thewy can. This is evident in the fact that they refused to fund the "bridge to nowhere" but still gave the money without the label on it, just to make it look like they are being responsible.
This republican led congress is the worst in American history, and they have the numbers to prove it!
