Before I carve the turkey today I will make a solemn vow that: fill in the
blank.

For me it will be that I resolve to see a constitutional amendment requiring paper ballots and hand counts. After we have that then all the rest can be addressed as it must be.

'requiring paper ballots and hand counts'
We need the electorate in each state to mandate new technologies to track via a paper trail if there is a need to verify the computer count.

It can be required by contract by each state

By the way, it is probably unconstitutional for the Federal gov to mandate each state to do anything election wise except to adhere to the equal voting rights act, which has nothing to do with the way machine records 'how' you vote as long as voting is accessible to all equally

14. That I Take The Leftovers
...out to the street and share them with the homeless. I have been reading Congressional candidate Jeff Sessions' diary on Kos where he tried to spend 100 hours incognito and homelss ~ he made it 72 hours because it was snowing and a policeman gave him the choice (without knowing who Jeff was) to either find a place to go or be arrested. jeff was having friends post for him while he was out on the street and they did a wonderful job, but he posted last night he was home and never so glad to have such a home. He said if there was one thing any of us did on Thanksgiving, it was to take our leftovers out to the steet give them to someone.
