As Jeralyn observes, remembering the idealism and hope of the 1960's via Alice's Restaurant is a tradition that the children of 1960's liberal activists are carrying forward.

we actually have quite a few progressive radio stations this year; there are even some in the South. It's getting better.

I'm looking forward to the Thanksgiving when I can give thanks that dubya is gone.
