I was going to post that, but then I thought Prince Spaghetti might have been a regional thing.

On edit: You and I are from pretty much the same region (NY v. MA) so I guess we still can't rule it out.

life in NJ and I also remember those Prince spaghetti ads.....remember one with the little boy being called for dinner....

However, in our house it was Ronzoni...when Ronzoni was still independent and was still...."so good!" (Ronzoni sono buoni, Ronzoni is SO GOOD!)

16. Interesting!
I remember the "Hey, Anthony!" ads as well, but I distictly recall the ad narration specifying that he was running home "through the streets of Boston's North End (where there was always a large Italian population)"

Anyone recall if the ads they saw had different geographical references?

5. I think we should demand it. . .
and then demand that all retailers promote sales exclusively to celebrate OUR holy-day. . .and refuse to let others buy at the same prices.

14. what if the Flying Spaghetti Monster is "infinite war on terrorism"
And every day they celibrate by a colored marking indicating how
terrified the people are supposed to be that day, and the more they
fear, the more the power of the flying spaghetti monster is
perpetuated..

The cult has printed up a fear-book to prepare for the coming of the
flying spaghetti monster in the second coming, when he'll use a big
hurriciane of spaghetti sauce to destroy one's dwelling, and as you
sit in your bed, in a pool of spaghetti sauce greedily licking it off
your lover's private parts, think of the flying spaghetti monster and
what it's done for you.
