Does anybody else suspect we haven't had a president...
...who was truly democratic since Carter????Bill Clinton spends time with Bush the 1st while being "the Democrat who moved us toward the Right"???How about this-a democrat supports labor, and regulation, and a social safety net?How about the concept that deregulation has failed?Or that supposed free market capitalism is a sham? That Ford Motors is approaching the government, for that which we dare not call a bail-out but will cost us billions? Apparently, none dare call it treason (nor wealth transfer, nor vivisection of the carcass of the middle class).I believe that what we have is an almost unbroken string of either republican or republican approved candidates since Johnson..who only got in on a sympathy vote....the sole anomaly came in the wake of the Nixon debacle and he was one termed due to republican dirty tricks...Clinton,a supposed "democrat" was at BEST a centrist or "republican light".So for forty years, less the Carter aberration, they have run it and ruined it....I deeply wish we could find a democratic candidate who would run as a centrist and then rebuild the middle class...with eight years I believe we could show the country the difference...

1. I was disappointed that Clinton didn't bring meaningful
health care reform to this country, which was one of his campaign promises. His health plan was not what we needed even if it had been passed.

...indeed it DOES.They have it,we want it and we have the votes....the education is what we must have. Each time a democrat votes for a corporation,we must educate or oppose him or her and clearly elucidate why (part of educating). A democrat who votes For corporations and against his constituents MUST answer why or face the scorn of his base. Most importantly ANY democrat implicated in ANY corruption must be DESTROYED-as soon as corruption happens, democratic ideals are destroyed...
