impeach this lying criminal in the WH, so we need a Dem congress to do so. 06 is going to be election where they cheat again; 08 is too far away. They need to protect their butts. Every snivelling toady R-$ congressman or senator that gets out in front and protects this cowardly lying POS needs to be brought down, because they are engaging in conspiracy.

Barring that, can * be prosecuted after he leaves office or sued or something?

1. You know, I was listening to John Rothman on KGO in these early

morning hours. He was talking to a caller about impeachment. He had a valid point. If you do somehow impeach Shrub, you get Cheney! The caller said we should impeach them both! John then said, OK, then you get Hastert who is totally supportive of Shrub/Cheney plans.

John suggested perhaps a better approach is to convince the more moderate Pubs in the House & Senate of just how bad this Admin, really is, and simply render them impotent until they can finally be voted out of office.

That does sound like the better choice to me. Sure, I'd like to see Shrub humiliated by an impeachment, but since there are already a number of Pub Senators very disturbed by the actions of the Admin, especially the "spying on Americans" admission Sat. AM, I think we stand a good chance of driving Shrub's poll numbers into the teens, and prohibit him from doing anything at all for the next 3 years!!!!

2. Bush won't be impeached unless and until the Dems can take

over the House and Senate, then THEY get to pick the Speaker of the House, I am for a congressperson resigning so that a Dem Governor can appoint Kerry to the vacant seat (he can move, Cheney did) and then he can be elected Speaker and appoint Gore Vice-President after Bush/Cheney are impeached. I suggest Kerry first only because he is the younger of the two.
