There's a guy on Cspan2 saying most crime is in the RED states!
His name is Sam Harris, author of "The End of Faith" Religion, Terror, and the Future of Reason".

He said the most atheistic Countries have the least crime. Look at the US alone. Where are the most murders, and even the most abortions? In the Red States!

Pretty interesting stuff.

1. Well, could that be because
most states ARE red states?

But seriously, somebody posted an updated projection of red/blue based on polls, and that map had CHANGED.

10. I don't know if you can look at it like that.
Where is the highest population? How many Wyomings, Kentuckys etc would it take to match the population of California? I would think you need to view the stats he's stating based upon population.

I'm originally from Pennsylvania, and moved to the South 19 years ago. I noticed there's a whole lot more hypocrits in the South than I ever found in Western Pa. and that true for all 3 states I've lived in. SC, TX, & GA.

They're very good at telling you you're a bad person, but behind their own doors, they do much worse.

18. The initial post was pertinent to red states
Red areas in blue states tend to show a slightly decreased level of such things to red areas in red states, probably because of
peer influence and possibly the diminution effect of numbers.

6. Figures
Repubs. suck all the blood out of the economy and education system, through tax giveaways to the rich, so it follows that in their wake, crime would grow.

14. There's probably more on his web site, but he mentioned Sweeden
the Netherlands, a good portion of Western Europe and Canada. He did say that Athiests are about 3%-5% of the US population, but other countries they are much higher.
