Watch Bush BLATANTLY Listen to His Earwig During the Q&A >>>
Edited on Mon Dec-19-05 11:30 PM by Stephanie

He is totally listening to his earpiece for the answers. I missed the PC this morning but saw an excerpt tonight on the Newshour. It is OBVIOUS that he is being fed the answers. Watch as he hems and haws, waiting to be fed his line. Watch as he looks down at the podium but does not read his notes - he is STALLING while the answer is given to him. It is well known the entire WH is totally scripted. Why would they take a chance on a press conference? Watch George. When he is really stuck he dips his head, leans both hands on the podium and shakes his head back and forth while he's listening. Then he spews forth his lines before he fully comprehends them. The pauses are off, the phrasing, the emphasis. Watch him search for the word "Constitution." Watch him sputter. George did not do this press conference on his own. And who would expect anything more, from the most stage-managed president in history?

But I want to know: WHO fed him his lines? Karl was sitting in the audience. Was it Scotty? Karen?

Who is the Voice in the Earwig?

Who Is Prompting the President?

the segment from the Newshour where it was most apparent:

http://www.pbs.org/newshour/bb/law/july-dec05/nsa_12-19.html

REPORTER: And why did you skip the basic safeguards of asking courts for permission for the intercepts?

PRESIDENT GEORGE W. BUSH: Well, I -- first of all I -- right after Sept. 11, I knew we were fighting a different kind of war, and so I asked people in my administration to analyze how best for me and our government to do the job people expect us to do, which is to detect and prevent a possible attack. That's what the American people want.

We looked at the possible scenarios, and the people responsible for helping us protect and defend came forth with the current program because it enables us to move faster and quicker. And that's important.

PRESIDENT GEORGE W. BUSH: I -- you know, I swore to uphold the laws. Do I have the legal authority to do this? And the answer is absolutely. As I mentioned in my remarks, the legal authority is derived from the Constitution as well as the authorization of force by the United States Congress.

some history:

October 4, 2004

THE EARPIECE....The internet is your go-to medium for news of the weird, and this weekend's clear winner in the world of weird speculation was the buzz about George Bush's earpiece.

It all started when Bush looked up halfway though an answer during Thursday's debate and snapped petulantly, "Let me finish." This is a trademark Bush line and normally wouldn't draw any comment except for one thing: no one had interrupted him. He had plenty of time left, Kerry hadn't said anything, and Jim Lehrer hadn't said anything either. So who was he talking to?

The theory making the rounds is that he was wearing an implanted earpiece of some kind and was reacting to advice from whatever handler was on the other end. The hard evidence for this is approximately zero, but it did bring back memories of an odd incident a few months ago: Bush was at a press conference with Jacques Chirac and really was wearing an earpiece, and it appeared that his responses to questions were being fed to him a few moments before the words came out of his mouth. You could hear it on every network that carried the event.

And for even more weirdness, there's the mystery of the strange lump in the back of his jacket. It's been there before at press conferences, and it was there again at the debate (Digby has a picture). What is it?

Weird, weird, weird. But I'm sure there's a good explanation that doesn't involve tinfoil hats. Comments are open.

Now, you'll have to cross reference them with the text to find what you want;, ie, either go back to the link you cited above or look on the White house website to find the text. I split up each one but the initial question asked is in the description of the video.

8. The looking down is very suspicious....
When people are thinking something over (like how to respond to a question) they invariably roll their eyes upward and/or look up.
Apparently, simply rolling your eyes up gives you better access to your right brain, or something like that. Watch people, and you'll see that they do it every time.

Looking down is a hiding gesture.

9. Ok, I just have to say this...
...Junior may be an evil, sociopathic, malcontented misfit. However, it really must take some skill to listen to lines and then speak them--as if they are your own.

I feel a bit icky--complimenting this piece of human garbage--but it can't be easy to pull this off. He doesn't do it perfectly. Some people can tell, if they really pay attention. Still, he manages to pull this off.

For someone to have this skill--means that they've been practicing, for many years. Probably decades.

I imagine this halfwit has been fed lines most of his political life. He's used to giving speeches this way. Furthermore, I would guess that the same person has been feeding him his lines lo these many years. He's got a rhythm going with someone and they've got this down to a science.

My guess is that Rove is the bug in his ear. That's why Bush is so dependent on him.

Has anyone ever seen Rove during one of the speeches in which Bush appears to be fed lines? My guess is, no.

13. It wasn't Rove today.
Rove was in the audience today. And it's not such a great skill. It was just demonstrated successfully on America's Top Model, when the poor girl could not remember her lines for the commercial and was fed them one by one by the director. Marlon Brando notoriously used and earwig in his later years because he was incapable of learning his lines. It's for the lazy and the idiotic. It does not take great skill.

I saw it clear as day.

EDIT:

THE PRESIDENT: Oh, I got you. Yes, sorry. No, I'm not going to talk about that, because it would help give the enemy notification and/or, perhaps, signal to them methods and uses and sources.

BUSH: You asked a multiple-part question.

QUESTION: Yes, I did.

BUSH: Thank you for violating the multiple-part question rule.

QUESTION: I didn't know there was a law on that.

(LAUGHTER)

BUSH: There's not a law.

(LAUGHTER)

It's an executive order.

(LAUGHTER)

In this case, not monitored by the Congress.

(LAUGHTER)

Nor is there any administrative oversight.

(LAUGHTER)

QUESTION: Well, without breaking any laws, back on domestic spying. Making the case for that, can you give us some example...

BUSH: Oh, I got you. Yes, sorry.

No, I'm not going to talk about that, because it would help give the enemy notification and/or perhaps signal to them methods and uses and sources. And we're not going to do that.

It's really important for people to understand that the protection of sources and the protections of methods and how we use information to understand the nature of the enemy is secret.

And the reason it's secret is because, if it's not secret, the enemy knows about it, and if the enemy knows about it, it adjusts.

And, again, I want to repeat what I said about Osama bin Laden, the man who ordered the attack that killed 3,000 Americans.

Sunnyvale, CA— Regal Electronics has added a new micro speaker to its product line that is a little over a half inch in diameter yet can handle up to a watt of peak input power. The new speaker has a frequency range of 600Hz to 20KHz. The speaker is especially suited for portable applications such as PDAs, cellular phones, medical devices, modems, and games, where extended frequency range, high power and high efficiency are of real benefit to design engineers. Sensitivity is excellent too, at 82dB. The micro speaker is constructed with a metal frame and Mylar diaphragm.

And that's just the commercial stuff. I'm sure Bushler gets something even smaller.

28. I remember reading that the NYT withheld
the story about the 'bulge' under Bush's jacket in the debates being a listening device.

Here is one article on that:

Foreign Press Foundation
BUSH AND 'BULGEGATE' - PLAY IT BY EARPIECE?
Mon Feb 7, 2005 05:43

"There was nothing under his suit jacket," Nicolle Devenish, the Bush campaign's communications director, told the New York Times newspaper.
The NYT did not print the truth.

by Henk Ruyssenaars

FPF-07-02-2005 - FAIR, the american organization for 'Fairness and Accuracy in Reporting' published last Saturday a story called "The Emperor's New Hump"
about how The New York Times killed a story that could have changed the election: ''because it could have changed the election''.

The NYT apparently had proof that George Bush in the presidential candidate debates illegally used an earpiece, which should have disqualified him in the race for the presidency, as the FPF already wrote earlier on 10-10-2004.*

A clearly on TV and in pictures visible bulge, and wires on the back of Pres. George W Bush during the TV debates with John Kerry, confirmed that he - contrary to the rules - was wired to get outside help. Specialist said the apparent bulge was a radio receiver feeding him answers from an offstage aide.

The Bush campaign managers - by lying - tried to dismiss the claims, saying' it was just a wrinkle in the presidential jacket': a question of tailoring.

http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=post&forum=104&topic_id=5642354&mesg_id=5642354

That 'liberal' newspaper, the NYT, once again helps out the Bush administration!! Between Judy Miller, Jason Blair, the 'bulge' story, and now the withholding of the Bush administration spying on US citizens story, how can anyone, ever again, trust that paper to do its job and simply report the news?

31. ARTICLE: NYT Killed Bush's Bulge Story & Changed the Elections
The Emperor's New Hump

The New York Times killed a story that could have changed the election —-
because it could have changed the election

By Dave Lindorff
In the weeks leading up to the November 2 election, the New York Times was abuzz with excitement. Besides the election itself, the paper’s reporters were hard at work on two hot investigative projects, each of which could have a major impact on the outcome of the tight presidential race.

One week before Election Day, the Times (10/25/04) ran a hard-hitting and controversial exposé of the Al-Qaqaa ammunition dump—identified by U.N. inspectors before the war as containing 400 tons of special high-density explosives useful for aircraft bombings and as triggers for nuclear devices, but left unguarded and available to insurgents by U.S. forces after the invasion.

On Thursday, just three days after that first exposé, the paper was set to run a second, perhaps more explosive piece, exposing how George W. Bush had worn an electronic cueing device in his ear and probably cheated during the presidential debates.
