Hmm I wonder why?
I wonder what happen during Vietnam and watergate that made the country think more checks and balance were a good idea... Oh well Bush sais it was Justified and he talks to Jesus so it must be OK.

Vice President Dick Cheney on Tuesday called for "strong and robust" presidential powers, saying executive authority was eroded during the Watergate and Vietnam eras.
