L'état Est Moi - Georgie the 2 or Louis the XIV?
Edited on Tue Dec-27-05 07:41 AM by REP
In his wars, pleasures, and sponsorship of theatrical entertainment, his overriding consideration was whether his and the country's glory were being served. He pursued both business and pleasure relentlessly. No matter how exhausted he or his advisors were, there was at least a walk daily.

2. Wasn't he the king with the giant tapeworm?
They found out about it in an autopsy, and some speculate that the parasite had a lot to do with Louis's general health and maybe even his mental condition. What parasites have their hold on the Chimp, and how are they effecting things?

5. I believe Louis XIV held royal audiences while he was on the toilet....
George II, on the other hand, probably needs help wiping. I'm sure competition is ruthless to be the one lucky enough to swap the royal sphincter.

6. Well, So Did LBJ
Louis required his courtiers to dress him; Georgie probably just has The Joker (Laura) do it for him.

8. Maybe that's why Louis had a
personal toilet inspector...and here I always thought he was there to make sure the King's sheet didn't stink.

9. Louis XIV had paid audiences to watch him crap
usually behind a door in one of the rooms in Versailles, there were no toilets in the building

And he is only concerned with his personal glory.

7. If "Business" = "War At Any Cost" Yes He Does
And I do think he at least thinks "La loi est moi" if not l'état.
