Your honor, may I call a rebuttal witness?
I need some help guys. My sister sent me this piece of shit she got from a co-worker. I'd like to refute it, although I never do this. I'm working on a rebuttal right now, but I though I would get this out there in case any of you can help. Most of this is just outright bullshit, and you and I know it. I'll be searching for references.

Dear Mr. Ex President Clinton:

I recently saw a bumper sticker that said, "Thank me, I voted for Clinton-Gore." So, I sat down and reflected on that, and I am sending my "Thank you" for what you have done, specifically:

1. Thank you for introducing us to Jennifer Flowers, Paula Jones, Monica Lewinsky, Dolly Kyle Browning, Kathleen Willey, and Juanita Broderick. Did I leave anyone out?

2. Thank you for teaching my 8 year old about oral sex. I had really planned to wait until he was a little older to discuss it with him, but now he knows more about it than I did as a senior in college.

3. Thank you for showing us that sexual harassment in the work place (especially the White House) and on the job is OK, and all you have to know is what the meaning of "is" is. It really is great to know that certain sexual acts are not sex, and one person may have sex while the other one does NOT have sex.

4. Thank you for reintroducing the concept of impeachment to a new generation and demonstrating that the ridiculous plot of the movie "Wag the Dog" could be plausible after all.

5. Thanks for making Jimmy Carter look competent, Gerald Ford look graceful,Richard Nixon look honest, Lyndon Johnson look truthful, and John Kennedy look moral.

6. Thank you for the 73 House and Senate witnesses who have pled the 5th Amendment and 17 witnesses who have fled the country to avoid testifying about Democratic campaign fund raising.

7. Thank you, for the 19 charges, 8 convictions, and 4 imprisonment's from the Whitewater "mess" and the 55 criminal charges and 32 criminal convictions (so far) in the other "Clinton scandals."

8. Thanks also for reducing our military by half, "gutting" much of our foreign policy, and flying all over the world on "vacations" carefully disguised as necessary trips.

9. Thank you, also, for "finding" millions of dollars (I really didn't need it in the first place, and I can't think of a more deserving group of recipients for my hard-earned tax dollars) for all of your globe-trotting. I understand you, the family and your cronies have logged in more time aboard Air Force One than any other administration.

10. Now that you've left the White House, thanks for the 140 pardons of convicted felons and indicted felons-in-exile. We will love to have them rejoin society. (Not to mention the scores you pardoned while Governor of Arkansas)

11. Thanks also for removing the White House silverware. I'm sure that Laura Bush didn't like the pattern anyway. Also, enjoy the housewarming gifts you've received from your "friends."

12. Thanks to you and your staff in the West Wing of the White House for vandalizing and destroying government property on the way out. I also appreciate removing all of that excess weight (China, silverware, linen, towels, ash trays, soap, pens, magnetic compass, flight manuals, etc.) out of Air Force 1. The weight savings means burning less fuel, thus less tax dollars spent on jet fuel. Thank you!

13. And finally, please ensure that Hillary enjoys the $8 million dollar advance for her upcoming "tell-all" book and you, Bill, the $10 million advance for your memoirs. Who says crime doesn't pay!

14. The last and most important point - thank you for forcing Israel to let Mohammed Atta go free. Terrorist pilot Mohammed Atta blew up a bus in Israel in 1986. The Israelis captured, tried and imprisoned him. As part of the Oslo agreement with the Palestinians in 1993, Israel had to agree to release so-called "political prisoners". However, the Israelis would not release any with blood on their hands. The American President at the time, Bill Clinton, and his Secretary of State, Warren Christopher, "insisted" that all prisoners be released. Thus Mohammed Atta was freed and eventually thanked the US by flying an airplane into Tower One of the World Trade Center. This was reported by many of the American TV networks at the time that the terrorists were first identified. It was censored in the US from all later reports. Why shouldn't Americans know the real truth?

What a guy!!

AND THE REST OF THE STORY

It's common knowledge that in order for her to establish NY residency, they purchased a million dollar-plus house in upscale Chappaqua, New York. Makes sense. They are entitled to Secret Service protection for life. Still makes sense. Here is where it becomes interesting. Their mortgage payments hover at around $10,000 per month. BUT, an extra residence HAD to be built within the acreage to house the Secret Service agents.

The Clintons charge the Federal government $10,000 monthly rent for the use of that extra residence, which is just about equal to their mortgage payment. This means that we, the taxpayers, a repaying the Clinton's salary, mortgage, transportation, safety and security, as well as the salaries for their 12 man staff -- and, this is all perfectly legal!

When she runs for President, will you vote for her?

1. On the Secret Service "rent"
http://www.snopes.com/inboxer/outrage/landlord.htm

There was a kernel of truth underlying the gossip here, but that kernel has been so distorted that it hardly qualifies as the truth any more. As Lloyd Grove reported in The Washington Post:

It is a standard arrangement that the Secret Service provide payment to homeowners for space used by the agency in such situations. The Clintons did not take it upon themselves to "charge the Secret Service rent."

The amount provided is based on a government formula, not set by the homeowner. In the Clintons' case, this amount is $1,100. (Note that this figure was not chosen by the Clintons, and it is well short of their monthly mortgage payment.)

Most importantly, although regulations call for the payment of this amount, the Clintons have not accepted any money from the Secret Service.

3. The Mohammed Atta LIE
http://www.snopes.com/rumors/atta.htm

Finally, the Boston Globe, at least, caught onto the error and realized that the bus bomber and the hijacker were two different people with the same name:

Last week, many news organizations, including The Boston Globe, reported that US authorities believed Atta had attacked a commercial bus in Israel in 1986. But Second Circuit US Court of Appeals records show that was a case of mistaken identity. Another man, a naturalized US citizen who used the alias of Mahmoud Atta, was arrested in that attack.

7. Only a nose-picker would forward that nonsense.
That is how I would start, then tear it to shreds. For starters, it wasn't Bill that introduced everyone to those women and to oral sex, it was the traitors in the Repuke party who couldn't stand losing the White House and chose to do anything to bring down the DULY ELECTED PRESIDENT.

Number 7 is a duzy of a lie. Notice the number of charges? Charges? They can charge a million people and it doesn't mean shit. Don't forget to mention Reagan/Bush and 32 CONVICTIONS for Iran/Contra.

And please, please don't forget: REPLY ALL

9. NO problem,
1.Sorry for putting the poor class in the headlines, I know it hurts to see people that make you feel sorry for them.
2.You couldn't tell your kid the facts of life so Clinton did.
3.What's your point/That needed to be clearified.
4.Hmm, An impeachment that was completely ridiculous, forged in the fire's of the conservative hell called the senate/house, and molded by the media.
5.All that from a few BJ's, and a misunderstanding on personal matters. Maybe you should thank Bush for all the above, atleast Clinton "lies" didn't kill people.
7
8. That's 1 trillion dollars going to other programs, and 1 trillion dollars that is no longer Superfluous. And maybe you should thank Clinton for making America loved again, and improving foreign policy all over the world. The only gutting going on was gutting of hostile sentiment towards the USA. Or maybe you were referring to the leaps and bounds made on the front of peace?
9. Few million dollars to fly around and talk to a few world leaders, or 500 billion and thousands of lifes to settle it the Conservative way. You make the choice. Funny how you can get mad at a president for actually doing his job.
10.Ahh, do you miss the good ole days when you could string uup innocent men in the townsquare and watch the life leave their bodies? Sorry we took that away from you, we'll be more sensitive to your needs in the future.
12. God damn, now Bush can't smoke while he's travelling.
13. Funny how he's probably never condemned anyone for making money ever, Bush's fortune comes from Hitler, but when the money comes from a life story, it's BLOOD MONEY>
14. Funny how, the pilot walked away from the terrorist act in "1986". I guess he was one of the lucky suicide bombers.

10. My replies
1. I hope you realize Clinton is not the first President to have dalliances. Warren G. Harding had Nan Brittan, who wrote a book called "The President's Daughter", about their affair and their love child. Was quite a seller in the Twenties.

2. Clinton didn't teach your child about oral sex. You did, by allowing him/her to watch television when this was on. Parents can always turn off the set-as I did during the whole affair.

3. Who filed a sexual harrassment suit against Clinton? What consenting adults choose to do isn't harrassment.

4. Clinton didn't introduce the concept of impeachment. That whole scenario was orchestrated by the right wing, which put ads in Arkansas papers asking for people to come forward with any dirt they may have. Those are the people who wasted millions of dollars of taxpayer's money on White Water, which never resulted in any charges against the Clintons.

5. Anyone who wins the Nobel Peace Prize, like Jimmy Carter, is competent in my book. Any President, like Bill Clinton, who balances the budget is a pretty good president in my book.

6. How many convicted felons has Bush appointed to his cabinet? Do you know?

7. Again, a witch hunt cannot be called a "scandal". The fact that Susan McDougal still supports the Clintons and says she was imprisoned because she wouldn't lie for the right tells me where the true scandal lies.

8. Clinton's foreign policy promoted world cooperation. The USA was treated with respect. As for cutting the military-this has happened when there is peace, starting with the end of the Revolutionary War. The Founding Fathers felt that the military SHOULD be kept small in peacetime, so that military adventurism would not be so tempting.

9. Show me facts and figures about this. Show me one trip that could be called a junket. Tell me how a President can forge the ties with international leaders without visiting them and showing them-and their country-respect.

10. Pardon is the perogative of a governor and the President. Gerald Ford, for example, pardoned Nixon before he was even indicted for anything-guess you think he should have been tougher. (BTW, I LIVE in AR and am PROUD that Bill Clinton was a governor who showed mercy and compassion!)

11. Don't think he raided the cupboard. And each Administration is allowed to buy their own china and silverware.

12. You don't think that other Administrations did this? Chester Arthur held an auction and sold many priceless antiques from former Presidents-and it's not clear where the profits went.

13. Excuse me, just what "crime" did Hillary commit? Standing by her man and trying to save her marriage? If she'd divorced him, you would have called her a home wrecker!

14. Haven't heard this one. I have heard that all Palestinians and Muslims are wicked, evil, and are responsible for all the bad things in the world. This is a crock.

This probably won't help. When I talk to rabid anti-Clintonites, they tell me to shut up, that I should not have the right to breed or vote. But I wish you luck.
