HONOR and DIGNITY (Or 20 reasons to vote for GW Bush in 2004)
1) It's an honor to live in a country where wealth trumps work.

2) It's an honor to work overtime.

3) It's undignified to pay workers time and a half overtime pay.

4) It's an honor for our soldiers to act as human shields for Dick Cheney's PNAC crowd.

5) It's undignified for the wealthy to pay taxes.

6) It's an honor to spend billions of dollars to rebuild Iraq.

7) It's undignified to waste tax dollars on domestic infrastructure.

8) It's an honor to tell bald-face lies to sell a war.

9) It's undignified to admit you're wrong.

10) It's an honor to award no-bid contracts to business associates in wartime.

11) It's undignified to question authority in wartime.

12) It's an honor to attack the patriotism of triple-amputee Vietnam veterans.

13) It's undignified to call draft-dodging republicans "Chickenhawks".

14) It's an honor to pack the federal courts with racists and fanatics.

15) It's undignified to fight for the rights of minorities.

16) It's an honor to restrict women's reproductive rights.

17) It's undignified to support family planning.

18) It's an honor to reveal the idenity if covert CIA agents.

19) It's undignified to appoint special prosecutors.

20) It's an great honor and extremely dignified to be told how to live my life by the likes of Rush Limbaugh and Bill Bennett.

Please discuss and amend.

This is only a response to point #10. Point blank, you are wrong. Haliburton originally won a contract through a bidding process with the Federal Govt under Bush Sr. This contract stated that Haliburton was the Go-To company in the event that the Fed needed anything done overseas. In other words, the Fed says "We need you to do this now" and Haliburton does it. Their contract expired and they lost it to someone else. Then Clinton flat out GAVE it to Haliburton, he offered no chances for other companies to bid on it. Haliburtons contract that they were *given* by Clinton has not yet expired so they are the go-to company for any work we need in Iraq.

Ok, I'll give you that this last one is on Halliburtons own web site, but it is a copy of an op-ed column in the New York Times.

6. thanks, HF! How are ya?
You're guy got quite a boost today. Not really surprised, Gore's recent remarks have been closer to Dean's stand on the war than to anybody elses.
