2. That's pretty good
It's a start. Clark has a long way to go before he is sworn in. He does have the best chance to win however.

3. Amazing that the one guy who was earlier today on this board....
described as a Ken Barbie with grey hair, strikes a chord with the young people in America. I would have thought Dean would have captured this one, but I guess the tide is changing.

15. The problem is, the cascade has started.
If you look at the two men, listen to them speak, judge their resumes, and so on, it's obvious that Clark has become the superior candidate -- and that's after only 3 months of campaigning. Imagine what he will be like in another few months. But the buzz is working against him, as it has from the start. The media desperately want to see a Bush-Dean matchup, because it would likely be a hot campaign, full of smears and attacks, and that sells papers, magazines, and ad time. I'm not sure what Clark can do to win positive air time short of a really strong NH finish and a win in SC, and even then, the Dean drone will likely continue.

I prevailed upon some people at work last week and got them to change the news station on our monitors from Fox to MSNBC, and it was the same thing there: all Dean, all the time. At one point, CNN's politics program went 9 days straight without saying the name 'Wesley Clark' recently. It's actually worse than Clinton in '92, because Clinton really had no credible challengers after Harkin fizzled in NH (it was plain Tsongas couldn't last without money); here, there are some strong candidates, including one who is within striking distance of Dean, but they are all ignored in favor of Dean puffery. I've never seen the like before. Maybe Hart in 1987-88 comes close, and that was partially because the guy had scandals circling his campaign like vultures even before Donna Rice hit.

6. What Happened to Dean

I think some of Dean's record of flip-flop on many of his positions is undercutting his popularity.

7. Very cool... :)
it really was the best video; took a different approach than the others--humor, which I thought was way better than the fast-paced music/images that almost everyone else used.

10. Just watched the ads on the site
(Hint: Just click the pictures)

Never saw them before. But Clark's ad was totally out of left field! The Outkast reference was hilarious!

I liked Sharpton's as well. I like that he's out there registering people to vote.

CMB's was just simple and straightforward.

Lieberman's was the slickest.

11. Love him or hate him, Clark had the best "Rock the Vote" commercial.
Clark/Andre 3000 in 2004!

12. LOL, what a surprise, Lieberman last.
His was hilarious--hilariously horrible!
I'm so glad Clark won, I was almost SURE it'd be Dean especially with a young crowd. Lets hope people notice..

13. Keep in mind
This is just a vote on their RTV video, NOT the candidate in general.

Clark hit the humor button, which nobody else did. It stood out. I'm sure this resonates better. It grabbed attention.

14. I disagree. . .
. . .the real reason Clark won is because he did not pander to the younger voters. He talked to them about the issues and then he threw in some pop culture humor.

18. I agree with that, too
But a little humor doesn't hurt.

Clark hit all bases in half a minute.

Clark understands young people. Plus, young people usually vote fromt the heart.
