1. Hillary's not doing her job as NY Senator very well
and she wants a promotion? Give me a break! Tell her to vote AGAINST the Republicans sometime.

3. From what I saw yesterday in the news...
... he only mentioned that he wasn't ruling it out. Which, I suppose he could mean he is "considering" her for VP...

4. Double Whammy!
First, Gore endorses Dean, the very person the Clinton's pushed Clark into the race to derail, and now Clark says he'll "consider" Hillary for the useless job of VP. Not a good PR day for the Clinton's.

6. I don't see it
even though she is the senator from NY, both Clark and Hillary have Arkansas backgrounds.

If Clark wins the nomination, I wouldn't be surprised to have him pick a Bob Graham

7. Nope, me either....
Clark, if he wins....chooses Dean for party unity...or Bob Graham from Florida, maybe even Edwards. Dean looks like the logical choice if Clark wins because good Generals rarely divide their forces.

9. A terrible idea, I hope it's fiction.
I will just once use the dreaded all caps to emphasize this point:

WE CANNOT WIN WITHOUT SWING VOTERS!

Hillary has, fair or no, a lot of negative baggage, and her presence alone could make swingers attracted to Wes run in the other direction. I'm shaping up to be a Clark man, hope it ends up being Clark/Dean (I'd even settle for Dean/Clark), but Hillary will repel voters we need.

This time around, winning is the only thing that matters, with all due credit to Vince Lombardi.

10. Technically Bill could be VP
It is not going to happen...
but other than making loads of money as Speaker what is he doing?
But honestly if Bill would even hint at thinking of running as a VP candidate for Clark..wow... Hillary is a good choice...but I think she really doesn't want the backlash of backing out of being Senator.

11. No
Bill could not be VP because he is ineligible to serve as president should the need arise.

14. I'm not 100% sure

but I think in case of Presidential death or other reason, the VP can become President and then be re-elected twice. Which would make me assume that this would not exclude Clinton from the ballot as he could just not run for re-election.

12. Never
Clark does not want to act or be seen as another polarizing candidate - adding Hillary, even tho she is wonderfully qualified, would add a polarizing element to the ticket.

13. as far as I know
Clark has said that the Democratic Party has a lot of great people, and he hasn't ruled anyone out. I don't get the absolute OBSESSION that the media and some others have with the Clintons. Let Hillary go ahead and finish being Senator, and if she decides to run for something, I'm sure she'll have great publicity to let us know! For Pete's Sake, some people are still drumming up the fantasy that she's going to jump in on 2004, no matter HOW many times she says she's not.

17. No, no no!!! Clark needs the crossover vote
As does Dean, they won't get it with Hillry on the ticket.

18. I think I agree Loonman
If this happens I think it'll be politics as usual. She would just be better of endorsing him than anything.
