US Foreign Policy has always been geared to protect our "interests" abroad, and those "interests" have always been business interests. As if following international treaties, acknowledging the sovereignty of other nations, treating foreign nationals with human dignity - and just doing what is right & moral shouldn't be in America's national interest.
