I just had to post this after seeing Gore's son on the news all day. Rush is not exactly loved by all Palm Beach folks. This is a scathing editorial.

SNIP..."Rush Limbaugh and his lawyers say Palm Beach County prosecutors should not see his medical records because "no citizen would wish these highly personal details to be held by minions of the state to finger through at their leisure."

Belittling the police and prosecutors who suspect Mr. Limbaugh of illegal "doctor-shopping" to obtain addictive prescription drugs might play well inside the talk-show host's small broadcast booth and in the bunkers that a fair number of his paranoid anti-government adherents inhabit. Such descriptions, however, have no place in the real world of courts and serious issues such as drug abuse. Mr. Limbaugh obviously is not happy to find himself in that real world, but he is there because of his own actions....."

looks like the rich class is tired of him and wish him to go away. what excellent points were brought up about rush and his ditto heads...god i love it when rich people get pissed and turn on their own...

Has his show been affected much? There was a thread on FR about Rush that immediately deteriorated to attacks on whoever is pursuing the case. A familiar pattern! Any interesting facts?

4. They're Pissed In Broward...(Depends Warning???)

A good friend in Ft. Lauderdale says there's a lot of buzz in his "Country Club" circles how the Palm Beach prosecutors are being slammed by the "media" and the Florida GOOP on behalf of Rush.

He mentioned this was hitting a little too close to home...there are a lot of rich families with skeletons in the closets they like to keep hidden and hate when there's any media glare in their area...especially from an "outsider" like Rush.

Rush's attempts at playing victim, Roy Black or no, is not playing outside of Dittoland. The quantity of drugs, the way he was caught, the obvious doctor-shopping and money laundering....there's way too much smoke here to be back pain. And many others are holding Rush to that moral barometer he has held others to, like it or not. This will be interesting how this plays out...especially when indictments come done.

We were conjecturing that even if Rush isn't indicted (I give him 5:1 he somehow walks free and 2:1 on a plea bargain) anyone who is will certainly subpoena him to testify and there'll be more of Rush's dirty laundry put on display. His vanity and dilusions of his own importance are about to catch up with him. Up next: Bill O'Reilly.
