Did you hear me on Washington Journal this AM?

I was the caller from Seattle that laid into the the wanker from US News and World report regarding Bush administration secrecy.

The guy was pretending to call the administration on the secrecy thing, but was really just whoring in academic-speak for the administration. He was basically minimalizing the whole thing.

So we thought we would ask the asshole what he thought about the Cheney energy task force docs that were released to Judical Watch regarding the Iraq Oil fields being divided prior to 9-11. They were the maps which showed in March 2001 that they had already decided who would get Iraq's oil.

We (*my bother and I) were pointing out exactly what the administration was hiding, and the asshole freaked and basically blew me off and said "You are drawing conclusions" or some other BS and moved on.

This guy writes a piece on secrecy of the Bush administration and when you point out what the secrecy is all about he freaks.

*Oh yeah, they tried to question the source so we pointed out that it was on the Judicial Watch website and you know they can be trusted since they chased Clinton around for years...LOL! That shut them up pretty quick.

How can these jerkoffs claim with a straight face that they are educated?

4. Guess what!
You can hear it on replay, at the C-Span.org site. I just looked, and the entire Washington Journal is available now to hear from this morning.

Look in the center section, left half of that, under "Latest Video" and it's the 6th one down the list.

When you get some time, you can hear it all over again. If you listen for it, you can tell DU'ers where to look for it, if it's half-way through, near the end, the beginning, etc., and more of us will get a chance to check it out, too!

Congratulations, KissMyAsscroft! Welcome to D.U. :hi: :hi:

5. I freaked when I viewed the JW Cheney documents
when you see a map carved up like that it has a chilling effect.

Thanks for bringing that up!

8. Excellent! I just heard it.
Steven Aftergood's face slumped down, and he was looking mighty cranky by the time you got to the end of your question. The host seemed anxious to get through the call, too, as in "nervous."

Yep, Aftergood really tried to toss it aside, but the information you gave is solid. I have seen this discussed on a thread concerning the P.N.A.C., also, right here at D.U. It's been around long enough for Aftergood to know about it.

He was simply blocking the information. Really funny how some of his earlier remarks implied he favors government transparency, but he dropped the ball, didn't he?

Thanks to GOPFighter, it's easy to get to the segment following your directions.

The Washington Journal link has moved down the page, to the following one, which is probably this one, at the moment:

9. I heard that!
the guy was NOT the US News Reporter

I talked to HIM last night on Jim Warren's show.

said the reason his story didn't get much play, contrary to the comment of the host, was that the MEDIA WILL NOT TOUCH the Bush admin.

I brought up the AWOL story as a contrast, mentioned that there were THOUSANDS of stories on WJC/draft, as opposed to only 49 during the selection (Begala's Nexis numbers), and that the press was only too eager to jump on Whitewater--"bogus story, as you in the media all know"--despite its untruth, and that set the stage for what the media did to Gore during said election.

I said the media MO for dumbo is to report a story once or twice, then let it die, giving them the cover that they "did report the story." Also said that their is an echo chamber for negative stories about any dem, which DOES NOT exist in the media for the pugs, and THAT is why there's never any traction on Bush stories.....no echo chamber, contrasted to the radio/TV/print onslaught upon which can be counted to overwhelm the slighest anti-dem story, true or not.

I've called in many times to this show, often with this slant, and this time, for a change, they actually admitted the slight possibility that some of what I said was true.

this CSPAN guy was NOT the US News reporter, though.

there should be a repeat of this later today.

almost EVERY single caller was pretty exercised about this egregious policy, btw

11. Warren can be good
but he can be a whore too. At times I think he aspires to be a TV pundit, he just gives off that kind of vibe.

13. I've talked to him many times (on show)
he hides his feelings most of the time, leans a bit left, but has ambitions that keep him from admitting the truth.

I used to email back and forth with him, til I got on his case too much about media whoredom/lack of coverage of *'s myriad criminal activities, lousy guests, funny oxymoron of a show title (Unconventional Wisdom, when ALL he has as guests--with very very infrequent exceptions--Molly Ivins, who I got to ask if she though * resembled a chimp--epitomize the CW herd instinct)

I didn't catch that part of the show, only the part about swearing in politics. I'm sure you kicked ass, though! :yourock:
