90 percent of the e-mail I get claims to sell me generic Viagra (which I wouldn't ingest, even if I needed it, which I don't) or to increase my penis size. Although I am no doctor, I believe the latter is a physical impossibility.

What's my point? PEOPLE DON'T ALWAYS TELL THE TRUTH ON LINE . . . okay, there I said it. If the threat really happened, how do we know that it was really a Clark supporter who made the threat? We don't.

It's like those unlikely "liberal posts" that the rightwing talk show hosts trot out to shock and appall their redneck listeners. It's entirely possible that the posts never existed or were created by the wing-nuts in the first place.

Let's keep our underwear unbunched until we know something more than "I heard from someone who heard from someone . . ."

5. Several of us know this stuff is true

from seeing the defense offered by the person who sent it. If it were our stuff to share we would but it isn't so we won't. But it is telling the difference between the reaction Will got (who gave just as much evidence to back his accusation up) and the reaction this got. Telling indeed.
