If Saddam is assassinated, will we ever find out where the WMDs are ?

Are they all in the hands of terrorists? Does this make us safer? But would he allow himself to be captured alive? Will the missing WMDs simply be the excuse to continue the war against terrorism forever and ever and ever? Is this the substitute for the Cold War which kept the military industrial complex going for almost 50 years?

Doesn't it just make you sick to your stomach knowing that our country is going to be suckered into this scam? For decades to come, our national wealth will be spent on armaments and security purposes, rather than on the needs of the people. It is a scam. There are terrorists in the world but they are not nations. They are individuals that can be taken care of with good intelligence without the need to declare war on the world.

Finding or killing Saddam has nothing to do with finding WMDs.

To find the WMDs, one needs sunlight and water. Then the WMDs will grow strong and healthy.

Not a chance...but isn't that the point? Bush doesn't want any of these guys alive. They are more useful to him dead. He doesn't care about the WMDs - hell, he even knows that there are probably no WMDs. With Sadaam dead, he scores political points at home. Screw the world.

so there's no problem with offing Saddam. in fact that would be their preference so as to make sure he doesn't talk about the WMDs he did actually have in the 80s (with US help).
