7. Have you tried

to go to
Control panel-add/remove programs then remove.
I take it a step further and go to find files, type in real one and delete all the files for it.
If you really want to get it all, go to: Start-run- type in "regedit"
and click on edit at the top and go to find, then type in real one.

Be careful with regedit, you can really screw up your puter if you delete the wrong thing.

Then go to the M$ site and download the latest Media Player.

Ed Schultz has been doing a regional talk show out of Fargo, ND for years -- and today is his very first nationwide radio show.

I wish the radio stations around here would carry his afternoon show but I guess I'll have to settle for the Net for a while.

22. Check your Windows Media Player settings...

Go to tools -> options -> choose the performance tab and, under "connection speed," de-select "detect connection speed," select "choose connection speed." In the drop-down box, choose the connection speed that best matches your actual connection speed. That should solve the problem. I did so and I've not dropped connection since. Oh, and don't forget to restart WMP after you make the change...

After the initial answer, I wasnt prompted in any way, just "hello" from Ed and then dead air from me because I didn't know I was on.

I am between gigs now so I will listen when I'm not out interviewing.

...and that's been ticking away despite hearing nothing, which means it's still streaming.

BTW - did you get my email about DSLReports.com? Everyone w/ broadband should run a speed test to make sure you're getting close to what your ISP tells you you're supposed to be getting. You can also compare your speed with others on your ISP and in your area...

The dead air is during breaks for me.
