What's your favorite airline?

No doubt about it...has to be Midwest! It used to be Midwest Express - not to be confused with the now-defunct Midwest.

All the seats are first-class; meals are all on real china; they bake choco chip cookies in-flight. Best service I have ever experienced. Almost makes me want to go back to Milwaukee. :)

[Old and In the Way]

1. Singapore Airlines

When I was flying business class for the last company I worked for, I got a chance to experience their service....unbelieveable...not to be a chauvinist or anything, but when the stewardess's kneel to wait on you....

Of course, nowadays, I fly economy overseas cuz it's my own money, so it just isn't the same ;-(

2. Alaska

Although......... I suppose if I ever fly Virgin Atlantic, they would become my fave :-)

4. Lufthansa & Piedmont.

This was probably the best Ive flown on.

Lufthansa was just a real classy operation.

Also the now defunct Piedmont...they actually gave you hot towels at the end of a long flight.....

6. US Airline: Southwest

Never flown it myself, I only suggest that because it seems to be the only US airline that doesn't muck up its finances and come trudging up to the public trough to bail it out. Even after 9/11 Southwest was still making money. They show it can be done, now if the other airlines would just take notes!

7. Yes on Southwest!

If you're on a short trip or don't mind connections, SW is the way to go. Best on-time record, most unionized workforce in the industry, only airline making money. Cheap fares, kinda wacky flight attendants (they wear shorts in the summer) and you can tell they actually like their job. And in all its 25 years, not a single crash.

Just a good "no BS" airline.

However, if you ever fly from Houston to DC, fly Continental. You have a good chance of sitting next to a congressperson.
