I see it alot, but have not figured out what it means.

People put it in their subject line to convey that there is no further text to their post

7. yup, 'no text'---folks put it in the subject line so you know not to click
silly people put it in the message body, so once you click you find out that there was no text. grrr

Moral: always put it in the subject line, or it's worthless.
