Never do the splits too fast when you're 40....

I was showing off lastnight to some 19 to 23 year-olds last night at work around 3am trying to pass some dead time. We were all showing our gymnastic talents. I usually have always been able to do the splits and a cartwheel. The cartwheel was no problem. The first splits I did---no problem. Then some that missed it wanted to see me do it again......I went down too fast and POP!--something snapped in my leg!!! LOL I hid my pain because I didn't want to be made fun of for my old age so I suffered with one of the WORST pains I've ever had, especially trying to hide it!!! lol I felt like I was going to puke. The pain extended from behind my knee all the way to my right lower abdominal area. I thought I might pass out at some point and thought maybe I ripped an artery or something. You should've seen me walking around trying to act normal for the next 2 hours before I went home!!! I will NEVER do that again!!!:dunce: :silly:

I absolutely REFUSE to go to the ER unless I'm dying. I think it is a muscle tear.

And pardon me for being crude, that women can also experience this sensation when something hits the very back of the vagina. Of course, the chances that something that long will enter the vagina are quite slim. ;)

9. Don't ignore it.

Get it checked. It could easily be something that needs surgical repair.
It’s easy to convince yourself that it will be okay in time but you could
suffer some effects of it for the rest of your life.
