1. If you're referring to Kona coffee...
I recommend trying

http://www.konapurplemountain.com

I have no financial connection with them, have visited their farm before, it's the real deal, and their coffee is fantastic.

3. It's $16.95/lb from KPM
They charge $16.95/lb as their basic price. It's direct from the farm, and it is sun-dried which gives the best flavor.

Why does Kona cost so much? It's produced in America, so even though no one makes lots of money, they still make more for picking, etc., than in 3rd world countries.

Kona is still one of the prized coffess internationally. If no one in the USA bought it, it would sell out easily to Europe and Japan.

How do I know? I was involved in the biz for a few years, covering the Kona Coffee Cupping Competition on the Web. I do know the folks at Kona Purple Mountain, and recommend their product without reservation. But as I said -- no financial interest on my part, just a good deal and a known quantity, from people who have worked their own coffee farm on the Big Island for over 20 years.

Oh, so heavenly!
OK, you talked me into it. I'm getting some 100% Kona this week instead of my usual 10% blend.
Hell, I work hard, I haven't gone stark raving mad in Chimpy McCokespoon's Murka yet...I deserve it!

Now, only thing left to decide....KPM, or Bad Ass?
