Poll question: Are you spending too much time on DU?

More specifically:

Do you feel that your level of involvement in DU has caused negative repercussions in your work, school, or social life?

2. Oh, wait

I said yes. I do spend too much time here, but the negative effects aren't all that bad. About the worst I can say is that my garden has suffered and I don't write as many pages as I would otherwise. Work, family, social life are just fine.

On edit: but even if it weren't for DU, I'd still be spending a lot of time agonizing about the mess this country is in. At least, with DU I know I'm not crazy. :evilgrin:

3. I spend WAY too much time on DU.

I take a 'quick look' at it before I go to bed, then end up going to bed about 1 1/2 hours later. I can't remember the last time I got enough sleep.

Edited to add: And that 'quick look' is of course not the only time I'm on DU that day. Usually, I've already spent way too much time on it, both in the afternoon and earlier in the evening.

8. it's become an addiction

I tell myself I'll browse for a half hour ... but several hours later I'm still reading and sometimes posting. Fortunately my husband is as addicted to golf as I am to DU so he's very understanding. The biggest effect is that the house is suffering from dust and clutter accumulation. Spring cleaning ... NOT!
