What's your biggest pet peeve?

if you're anything like me, you have tons... but there's one thing that certain people do that DRIVES ME absolutely INSANE!

when people bite on their fork or otherwise brush it against their teeth when eating... i swear, i'll have to get up and leave if someone is doing that. the worst is when i'm on a date and it happens... i'm like, ok, you're out.


what are yours? ... and more importantly, are you one of these fork eaters? :freak:

1. I'm not like that when I eat with a fork...but...

I really don't like it when tourists ask stupid questions. It bugs the hell out of me. It doesn't matter where I go, when I go there, there's tourists, and they ask the stupidest questions ever!

i never realized i did it until mrs. unblock started having a cow every time i did it. honestly, she had to spell it out for me, i had no idea what she was responding to.

apparently i've been doing this for about 40 years and she's the first to say anything about it. unfortunately, it's so invisible to me, it's unlikely i'll be able to change....

3. People who use the word "alot"

as in "I have alot of time." There is no such word. It's "a lot", two separate words.

If you insist on writing "alot" then you should also write "alittle" and "afew" as in "I have alot of pickles and abunch of grapes but only afew apples."

5. Sick people going out in public

I don't mean to the doctor, or getting gas, or buying food, etc, maybe that's their only way to get what they need.

But I've been in malls, and in theaters, where someone would be coughing and sniffling and obviously dealing with some bug - and they're effin' at Sam Goody or watching LOTR! - just spewin' germs everywhere...

Drives me up a wall, especially when they come near.

37. So I'm driving along and there's signs well in advance that say "Merge"

because the road is under construction or something. Most drivers will merge to one lane from where there was previously two. While everyone is poking along at 5 mph in a single lane some a-hole passes everyone on the shoulder and cuts in way up ahead. I don't know who I would like to choke more; the a-hole who did it or the a-hole who let him in.
