I used to marvel at reading about the stockbroker types who walked away and took up blacksmithing or Emu breeding. Now I’m beginning to understand. Escaping the LCS means a whole lot less money but a whole lot less stress, travel, paperwork, meetings and politics.

A fresh start at 54. Who woulda thunk it? No longer a fulltime domestic god and love slave, I shall now “skate away on the thin ice of a new day”.

I consider myself lucky to have found something that I am interested in and has potential. I hope you and and other fellow DU'ers are equally lucky and soon.
