2. Talking about * failures in Iraq
and Clancy is a moron ... but Zinni knows his stuff.

He's talking about how * "sold us a bill of goods" on the war and that we have to clarify what our role is going to be in a post-Cold War world.

4. Both just said that they are Republicans ...
but neither said they would vote for Bush. Clancy said "It's a long time to the election," and Zinni said "I'll have a hard time voting for this administration if the civilian leadership at the Pentagon doesn't change."

Take that Neo-Cons! :slap:

8. no by people in the Pentagon
in this admin, anyone who doesn't agree with you is suspect. Sigh. I read an interesting article recently, by Bernstein, indicating that no Rep would be brave or ethincal enough these days to accuse *co of immorality, etc, due to the lockstep Rep thinking these days.

6. Both were asked who they are going to vote for...
Zinni said that although he is a Republican, voted for Bush and was in the administration, it would be hard for him to vote for Bush if the Pentagon leadership is not removed. Clancy concurred, in essence, saying it was a long time to November, but...

7. Clancy is a damn weirdo...

Everything he says is "cryptic"...you just want to slap him and tell him to speak clearly, which is what Dobbs did in hilarious fashion!

How many Bush administration officials will it take coming forward in oppostion to administration policies before the general public gets the clue? What is this, like, the 10th one?
