Cry to Me
Well nothing could be sadder
Than a glass of wine, all alone
Loneliness, loneliness, it's such a waste of time
Oh-oh yeah

When you're waiting for a voice to come
In the night and there is no one
Ah don't you feel like crying? (cry to me)
Don't you feel like crying? (cry to me)

Ahhh, what a song. Putting down the wine now and backing slowly away. Anyone else having a crappy weekend besides me? Tell me all about it, or as the song says, cry to me

8. Never heard the Stone's version
Somehow I just don't see Mick putting the same emotion into it, but what do I know? I'm half plastered :P

4. "out of our heads".....nevermind
It was gloomy here today.......overcast and cool, and started raining just in time to screw up the barbeque. But the worst thing was finding a home for one of nine kittens we have been raising.....I thought it would be a happy moment. Now I just can't stop thinking about the little guy. He's used to snuggling with 4 siblings and now he is not with them.....is he scared?, confused? lonely. I guess i'll get over it....eight more times.

Very boring and almost nothing to do. Things will get better, they always do.

9. Oh, it'll get better
I go through this every year and every year I survive to annoy everyone around me for another one :P

So I noticed there weren't any lounge rejects threads in my absence this weekend, everyone lose interest?

10. I guess they did... or...
Now that the rejects were accepted among each other I'm sure they don't feel like rejects anymore.

13. Funny coincidence
I've never heard the song but I happen to be sitting here drinking a glass of wine and wondering why I can't seem to ever meet someone I'm attracted to that is also attracted to me. I'm in a new city and its lonely.

15. I'm pining for a lost love myself
But I can identify. I have a hard time right now, because though I love to go to clubs and dance, I HATE clubs for meeting men. Actually, I hate the entire mating ritual that's the dating scene. Why can't I just mail order a guy already? Smart, funny, good in bed, high sex drive, not clingy... is that really too much to ask?

16. Yes it is took much to ask for
On the other hand, I think I fit that description. ;-)
Maybe I just need to move to a place with more liberals. I'm too involved now to date someone conservative or apathetic. Is a tree-hugging, Bush-protesting, free natured woman that also shaves too much to ask for? haha :)

17. Depends on where you're from and how old you are, really
The way it works around here is this: The Bush hating men are all way too young for me, and the guys my age seem to be redneck Bush lovers. I'm actually quite okay with not having a man, it's that no sex thing that gets kinda old after awhile :P

18. Hmm....
I think I haven't been here long enough to really know. I'm in my mid 20's in Arkansas. I suppose I should stop complaining and make an effort to meet someone.
But I agree with you that I don't mind being independent without a girlfriend...the no sex thing just gets old.

20. Arkansas, huh?
Ouch, that's gotta be tough, trying to find liberals in Arkansas. I feel better already, at least there are SOME Dems around here :D

14. All of the rumours keeping me grounded
I never said, I never said that they were
Completely unfounded

So when you slam
Down the hammer
Can you see it in your heart ?
Can you delve so low ?
And when you're standing
On my fingers
Can you see it in your heart ? ... ah ...
And when you try
To break my spirit
It won't work
Because there's nothing left to break
Anymore
All of the rumours
Keeping me grounded
I never said, I never said that they were
Completely unfounded

You won't sleep
Until the earth that wants me
Finally has me
Oh you've done it now
You won't rest
Until the hearse that becomes me
Finally takes me
Oh you've done it now
And you won't smile
Until my loving mouth
Is shut good and proper
FOREVER

All of the rumours
Keeping me grounded
I never said, I never said that they were
Completely unfounded
And all those lies
Written lies, twisted lies
Well, they weren't lies
They weren't lies
They weren't lies

I never said
I never said
I could have mentioned your name
I could have dragged you in
Guilt by implication
By association
I've always been true to you
In my own strange way
I've always been true to you
In my own sick way
I'll always stay true to you
