In Your Video Collection, What Genre Of Film Do You Own More Of?
Edited on Mon May-31-04 11:11 PM by arwalden
For me it's Sci-Fi (surprised?)

Followed by action, drama, comedy, musicals (old and new), classic dramas (TCM stuff) and finally horror.

I have to admit that even though the horror DVD's and VHS's are in our collection, they belong to Mike. There aren't many of them that I'll watch.

1. Comedy. But then, I only own five DVDs
One is Ronin, which my dad gave me for my birthday a few years back. The other four are part of a MST3K box set (volume 2) that my mom gave me for Christmas, remembering that my brother and I loved the early days of the show as kids.

2. Sci fi by far.
For some reason, that's the only type of movie I would choose to watch over again. Most dramas - well, for me, once is plenty. I can't take all that emotional angst again and again.

I own every Mel Brooks, Monty Python and Marx Brothers movie ever made. Now I'm collecting Christopher Guest.

7. lots of comedies, some Indy films, and some mainstream box office hits.
Most of the Indy movies and queer-themed movies are mine. My partner is much more of a big studio/blow 'em up/ action film person.

Usually when we watch a movie together from our collection, it's one of the comedies... Laughter is a great compromise!

All the Python, Mr. Show and Kids in the Hall.

Except for "Run, Ronnie, Run" - which I didn't like.
