a few photos from our trip to Fenwick Island, DE
We came back a day early because we missed our cats and because it rained most of Monday. Our only beach day was Saturday, and I only got a little sunburned. We had a wonderful time -- hope everyone's holiday weekend was as enjoyable -- and are glad to be home.

3. no, limited fundage this trip -- we ate fast food the whole time
but since you brought up Ocean City, may I ask: what's the appeal? We drove through there and saw nothing but highrises. What am I missing?

4. Better the further you go
Alot of high rises the closer you get to the Delaware border. It's better down near the inlet - around 5th Street. It's not the kind of place you go for a quiet time. Ocean City has a fun nightlife, and the Boardwalk is alot of fun. Also a number of good seafood places.

5. Okay! Thanks so much for telling me.
We were baffled. We do go for quiet, which is why FI/Bethany Beach are more our speed than OC.

We'd've had more $$ for food & fun, but the first night we were there, we went to Redfin, a restaurant in Bethany Beach (I think), with our weekend hosts. :choke: We didn't know we'd blow half of our weekend stash on one dinner. But if we hadn't done that, we would never have learned that there's at least one McDonald's on the planet who does not mess up orders. I guess that's something. :)
