I work for a school district - I'm a 12-month employee - and summers are when things quiet down, the phone stops ringing, and I don't wear socks or long pants until September. We do a hell of a lot of work in summer - that's when I can do things to the servers - but we don't have a lot of people asking us questions while we're doing those things.
