My Mom and Dad are Brother and Sister
Edited on Tue Jun-01-04 09:51 PM by new_beawr
So they're also my Aunt and Uncle. So, two of my Brothers are my Cousins as well, but two others aren't.

My parents were Married in 1959

My Mom's Dad died in 1966.

My Dad's parents were divorced in the early 60's

My Mom's Mom married my Dad's Dad in 1969.

My parents were divorced in 1977

You can imagine what kind of family holidays WE had.......

My Dad's Ex-Wife heard His father's dying words.

When my Maternal Grandmother Dies (she is now 97), she will be buried smack dab between both of my blood grandfathers.

I waited until I was 35 to get married. When my Mom asked whether I was Gay (I did work in theatre you know), I told her that I was merely skipping the first marriage. This was the wisest thing I've ever done.

4. You mean stepbrother and stepsister?
I have four uncles, each with a different mother. My Uncle Larry is six weeks younger than I am.

Families are such fun.

6. I like your response to your mother about marriage
I think I'll tell that to my mom the next time she harrasses me about it. I'm 31 and have no plans on getting married. I don't even have someone special in my life.

As for all that relatives marrying each other stuff goes- that's fucked up!

7. Heh heh - very cool! My dad was his brother's uncle
and my mother was sister-in-law to one of her cousins.

And I have two cousins who are both first cousins and second cousins, depending on how you trace the tree. :-)
