1. I hope the Pistons can somehow give the Lakers a run
A competitive series would be great.

2. gotta disagree
both teams looked absolutely horrid most of this series...it wasnt great defense, it was horrid offense, and the Lakers, of whom I am no great fan, are going to tear the Pistons to shreds because they play defense just well enough to slow Detroit down and their offense is way too good.

Ben Wallace and Rasheed cant hold Shaq, no one will hold Kobe...

The Pacers wouldnt have done any better than again their starting PG and Center were both playing on one leg.

3. I used to own a Pacer! I loved that car.
Nice wide wheel base, I could cruise around the "circle" we had near my home REALLY FAST and not worry about tipping.

Sad that it died.

And oddly enough, amongst my friends, we owned four pacers, and every damn one of them utterly fell apart in 1985. I think they were all 1976 Pacers, though one might not have been. But yeah, each and every one just totally went to shit in 1985. Like clockwork.

5. Push button ignition, who can forget it?
Toyota stole the idea for the Prius!

So, was yours pale green?

6. pale green? Of course not.
Mine was maroon.

My friends had two of the light blue ones, and I can't remember what the fourth was - it might have been lime green. But that might have been his gremlin.

I didn't have a push button ignition. At least, I don't remember it - I'm pretty sure it was a regular turn-the-key key ignition.

God, could it have been push button and I don't remember?

7. nah, I could be confusing it with the Gremlin
My girlfriend had one of each, at different times. Plus a Chevette. They blend in after a while.

8. Hell yeah
The Detroit Pistons is one bad ass team. I normally don't like them but I definately like the defensive schemes they run, they way the play 100% D for 48 minutes. Plus I like the players. Ric Hamilton(liked from Uconn), Ben Wallace(Gotta love the fro), Rasheed Wallace, Chauncey Billups, and the rest of the supporting cast. :toast:
