It Gets Hot Down Here in Houston!
http://abclocal.go.com/ktrk/news/060204_local_nakedguy.html

A guy decides to walk naked during the lunch hour in Houston. Well, can you blame him? It did get up to 97 degrees.:)

1. When I lived in Houston, it got so hot that I saw a dog chasing a cat.....
....and they were both walking.

2. What Do You Expect?

Jesus just left Chicago and Houston is a heck of a lot warmer.

3. it's not the heat, it's the humidity
I live in both Houston and Dallas. It can be 110 and comfy in Dallas because it is so dry (and usually breezy), but in Houston it will be 89 w/98 % humidity and I feel like I can't breathe.

6. Yup, you're right. It's the humidity.

7. Well it's certainly not the humility.....
...unless you're from Humble, I reckon.

9. Yep.... I grew up in Dallas, and lived in Houston for a year...
right after college. And I lived through the summer in Dallas (my last year in HS) when the temperature reached 100+ for 45 days in a row, with no rain. I would rather experience that than one day in Houston in August. (that may be a tad bit exaggerated, but you get the point :) )

4. Ha! I used to live near that intersection.
Memories......used to be a transvestite that would saunter up and down that area of Westheimer and in the summer he wouldn't wear panties underneath his skirt. Summer breezes were a frightening thing!}(

8. I live near that intersection
I live about two miles from the Galleria. The guy picked a very busy area for his walk.

The heat has been horrible lately. The humidity has been in 90% range all week. This is the time of year you know why some foreign governments give tropical hazard pay to their representatives stationed in Houston.
