I am so sick of RAIN!!!!!
Mind you, I know that we need rain every now and then... but it seems we can't go more than 2 days without 4 days of rain in between. Enough already!!!!

5. MissMillie, you need to give me advice
on things to see in Boston when I'm there for the Convention! I've never been to Boston before.

What's the climate like in late July? Is it humid there?

One of my favorite museums is the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum ( www.gardnermuseum.org/ ).

Take the Red Line to Harvard Square for people watching and go to The Border Cafe for dinner (they don't take reservations so make it an early dinner).

There's a piano bar at the top of the Hancock Building. It's called "Top of the Hub" or something like that.

If you're renting a car, a drive up to the Cape Ann area is always nice. There's a lot of quaint shops in Gloucester, Rockport, and Manchester.

Of course, there's the Freedom Trail--they do tours (Faneuil Hall, Paul Revere's house, Old North Church, site of the Massacre, etc...).

If you're like me, you can't go to a city with a Major League team and not see them play. Fenway Park is great fun (but very pricey).

4. I posted a message last week....
...saying that Philadelphia had hijacked Seattle's weather. We've been getting lots of rain here. It was also reported on the news last night that two local people had been struck by lightning. It's not raining right now but if I wait a half hour...

10. O how I miss rain!
Here in Colorado, we haven't had any in SO long! I love the constant sunshine but my grass looks like a sandlot! Water restrictions, water restrictions water restrictions!

O how I'd love a good thunderstorm, but, by Midwestern and eastern standards, they don't know the meaning of a good thunderstorm here. sigh
