Believe me, it's not -that- kind of noise!! (Although I do recall many years ago we had a couple upstairs from us with very noisy bedsprings, if you know what I mean.) :-)

This sounds like kids running around and making a lot of noise -- and the folks upstairs don't have any kids, so I'm guessing they have nephews/neices or something like that over for a visit.
