Windows Media Player 10 Technical Beta

Windows Media Player 10 is only available for Windows XP

For those that like to test beta software, Windows Media Player 10 Is available for download.

I tested a alpha build of Media Player 10 a couple of months ago with no problems.

1. The arrogance and nerve of these pricks is beyond comprehension
They want us to test their product for free.

Given MS's history of cataloging and sending personal information back to them, I wouldn't even begin to trust this. MS, when it doesn't introduce trojan horses on their own, makes it easy for others to do so...

The only two features I see are a new appearance and 'virtual shopping mall'. :eyes:

3. For those of us in the biz
The streaming media biz that is, I welcome open beta testing even from a company like Microsoft. Microsoft does do a great job of maintaining compatibility with older products which is good because I'm in the middle of developing a product for version 9. Phew..
