He's pontificating on Hardball about why outsourcing is good. What the hell qualifies this putz to explain economics to me. He's wrong about EVERYTHING.

So, when outsourcing proves to be as big a disaster as Iraq, who is he going to blame for not doing it the "right" way. Remember, Friedman said he wasn't wrong about his support of the invasion of Iraq, it's just that BushCo went about it the wrong way.

14. So easy to pontificate about the merits of outsourcing when

one is sitting atop the income distribution in the US and enjoys a life of privilege. Tom Friedman and others in the media will never have to worry about competing with a columnist from the other side of the world. They are secure in their job and get paid handsomely for it.

I think it was Studs Terkel or someone like him who lamented the passing of the working class journalist. It used to be that to be a journalist did not take an advanced degree in "journalism" from a School of Journalism. One had talent and succeeded on one's merit.
