4. A fresh loaf of crusty Italian bread!
Oh Yes! There is small shop a hop and a skip away from my home. They have, in the morning, fresh baked loaves of various breads. They sell out by early afternoon. But they always have these loaves of Italian white bread, a crunchy crust and all manner of nooks and crannies. Combine that with some olive oil, minced garlic, and fresh-grated Romano cheese. As Homer Simpson would say, "Mmmmmm, bread!"
(drool, drool)

6. I like variety . . .
I make it a point to buy different breads every time I shop . . . whole wheat, sourdough, pumpernickel, raisen cinammon, and all kinds of specialty breads, depending on what happens to be available on a given day . . .

there's also a superb bakery about 20 minutes away that I try to get to once a month or so . . . you can buy all kinds of fresh breads and rolls, hot out of the oven . . . they basically cater to restaurants, but they have a really neat retail section that's actually IN the bakery . . . they load up these huge racks with the day's stuff, and you're free to grab a bag and just pick and choose whatever you want . . . I usually start munching in the car on the way home . . . :)

8. I love them all..
as long as they have lots of butter and garlic I'm happy. I think garlic bread is actually my favorite food (after beer, of course).

9. French Bread

I got spoiled when I lived near New Orleans for several years. Nothing like a shrimp "po boy" sandwich on French bread.
