4. Yup, here's the proof.
I cut the 'B' box out and when it's alone you can see they're the same color.

14. This is the best I could come up with.
Checker Shadow Illusion
This fantastic illusion was created by Edward Adelson.
Incredibly, both A and B are the same shade of grey. The illusion plays tricks on the mind partly thanks to the dark shadow contrast around B - but also due to the bright white background contrast near A.
With some 'training', it is possible to see both A and B as the same shade, but otherwise you might want to import the picture into a paint package to prove it to yourself.

I used Photoshop and they are the same.

Shade is different from contrast and brightness.

Its a trick illusion.

10. Yes they are.
I didn't do anything to this square except crop it out from the rest of the squares.

As you can see, they're the same if you don't place 'em side by side to the lighter squares.

Cut it out yourself and see. It's an illusion. Don't feel bad, I didn't believe it either.

15. I have seen this one before
This is the best illusion I have ever seen. I saw it on a printout at a computer lab at UCLA. When I folded the paper so the square A and B were adjacent, they were amazingly the same shade - BLOWS ME AWAY still!!!!!!!
